Jurassic World

Jurassic World has recently began showing in the cinemas. As I remembered being a fan of Jurassic Park when I was little, I was really excited to catch this movie.

The movie brings us to a very attractive theme park showcasing the dinosaurs. When the movie shows how massive and beautiful the park is, it really has a big wow-factor. I am totally amazed by that scene and had started wishing if only this place really existed. Not only is the theme park beautiful, it really is a cool dinosaur zoo. There are cool rides like riding in a boat and floating down a stream surrounded by herbivorous dinosaurs and there's also an attraction that allows you to sit in a hamster ball and roll around while observing dinosaurs up close!

This movie on the whole is an action movie. There is so much action that till the end, it makes me kind of feel exhilarated. All that adrenaline! Throughout the movie, there is one obvious big bad 'guy', or rather a big bad dinosaur that wants to get out of its cage and have some fun. This dinosaur is a hybrid, combining genes from many different species and throughout the movie, we began to discover just how many species have the scientist combined to make this dinosaur which according to them is bigger, more intelligent and also more dangerous.

This hybrid as they named it, is called the Indominus rex.

She's been kept in her cage for as long as she remembers and then she started to plant traps and successfully escaped her cage, where like a psychopath, started her killing spree. She starts killing other fellow dinosaurs for sport and in the process am also jeopardizing the safety of other tourists in the theme park. Eventually, our main leads decides to defeat this big bad dinosaur with another big bad dinosaur, our most famous T-rex.

So towards the end, we get to see dinos screaming and howling at each other as opposed to all those guns (which were all rather useless against Indominus rex) used by the humans. Apart from all those howling/roaring, the dinosaurs also picked up a good fight and also trashing the park in the process.

Eventually the good guy/dinosaur wins and it's a happy ending for all.

I would like to say that this movie is an action movie through and through. And if you enjoy action packed movies, you should definitely watch it. There are also some funny bits in the movie. It's not enough to be called light-hearted moments as much as funny one-liners. But these funny one-liners are enough to crack you up and I can assure you that.

I really enjoyed watching this movie and am very glad that I went to catch it on the big screen. This is definitely one of the movies that I would want to watch again. Just like what I did in Jurassic Park. It is that awesome.
