Daehan, Minguk, Manse (Return of Superman)

The Song Triplets, Daehan, Minguk and Manse.

"The Return of Superman" is a South Korean reality-variety show have been airing for quite a while on KBS2. An alternative name for "The Return of Superman" is "Superman is back". This reality-variety show features dads spending 48 hours alone with their kids in the absence of the moms. And one of the family that has garnered the most attention from this show is the Song family. Father, Song Il-gook, and his triplets, Song Daehan, Song Minguk and Song Manse, have gained quite a large number of fans from this show. I am also indeed one of their fans. They manage to captured our hearts with all that cuteness they express throughout the episodes of "The Return of Superman". Not only are they extremely adorable, all 3 of them are very clever.
Being a good father as Mr Song Il-gook is, he teaches them well. Being firm when he has to and discipline his children whenever he deems appropriate. And this is why the triplets have grown to be such little angels.

The eldest of the triplets: Song Daehan

The oldest of the 3 children, Song Daehan, is the most responsible of them all. Daehan has shown support for his 2 younger brothers as early as when he is in his mother's womb, positioning himself below his 2 dongsaengs. The triplets were born on 16 March 2012.
Daehan is very quiet as compared to his brothers. His personality resembles his father (according to Mr Song Il-gook himself). Daehan will also reprimand his brothers sometimes when he knows that they did something wrong and that their dad will most probably scold them for it.

He is also often the one that is seen to be taking care of his younger brothers. Telling them to not be scared, and giving them support when they need them. He looks after not only his younger brothers but also his dad. He was seen giving away pieces of his cake on one of the episodes of The Return of Superman, where he feeds his dad and his brothers pieces of his own cake and even wiping their mouths for them. It seemed that he didn't leave much for himself. In several episodes, he also takes care of Mr Song's bag. Pulling the heavy bag with him till he finds his dad who has probably gone somewhere to find his other brothers who often roam elsewhere on their own.

The object that Daehan grabbed on his first birthday is the calligraphy brush. And from the looks of it, he might grow up to be a scholar. :)

Middle child: Song Minguk

The middle child, Song Minguk, is the cutest of the triplets. His most powerful weapon against his father is his aegyo (cuteness). Minguk loves to sing. He sings when he's alone, when he's with his brothers.. Just basically every time when he has the mood.
He has a bigger head as compared to his brothers and according to his dad that when he was young and just learning to crawl, his head will often hit the floor because it's too heavy. How cute is that?! Although it would have hurt a lot but it would have been a funny scene.

Nonetheless, Minguk still grew up to be healthy and strong. He also has a good memory. Committing many song lyrics in his head and he learns very fast. He is the only one in the triplets that can do a proper Korea bow (as of now).

Minguk is also a rather mischievous kid. He sometimes do things anyway even though he was told not to. But it is evident from the show that he does learn from his mistakes.

Minguk has the potential to enter showbiz in my opinion. Showing off his ability to aegyo to attract a large number of fans (although he already has quite a big pool of fans right now). Just kidding about using his aegyo to attract fans but yeah, this kid can sing! So maybe he will follow his father's footsteps and enter showbiz as an actor.

Youngest Song Manse

The youngest of the triplets - Song Manse. He is a free-spirit. He does what he likes and we can often see him running of one his own in the show. And therefore his name is often called by his father, who asks his to come back to regroup with the rest of his siblings.
Manse has a very big love for cars. He doesn't want to alight whenever he gets on one (evident from him stomping his foot). He also displayed potential in snow skiing and from what his dad observed, Manse likes speed. He likes to go fast and that is what his dad is worried about. Worried that he might play some highly dangerous and extreme sports.
Manse seems to be the boldest of his siblings. Willing to get close to animals and even entering the horse stable to feed the horses while his brothers stood outside the fence. (Minguk is the most timid one.) Manse however is afraid of water. He refuses to go near a water fountain and his dad has to carry him there, coaxing him in hope that he will eventually overcome this fear.
Unlike his brothers, Manse doesn't mind getting dirty. He was seen to be having tons of fun in the mud whereas his brothers sat aside, protesting whenever they get mud on their hands.
Manse has the most potential in becoming a traveller. Discover various parts of the world when he is free, not likening to be restricted to one place.
